At Newgate 180’s women’s treatment centre, we are dedicated to ensuring you feel safe and comfortable so you can focus entirely on your recovery and well-being. At our drug rehab centre for women, our exceptional care and understanding ways help pave the way toward recovery.

Our Rehab Facilities for Women

Our rehab facilities for women are based in a separate women’s centre and residence just a few steps away from our main campus and men’s centre. We offer private and semi-private accommodation, with many guest amenities including a comfortable lounge, games area, DVD library, big screen TV, fitness centre and an art studio. Our chef prepares nutritious homemade meals which are served in the dining room overlooking our spacious grounds on the banks of the tranquil Rideau River.

In addition, our female clients enjoy opportunities to fish, canoe and kayak – subject to seasonal and program availability.

Please note that some activities (such as dining, fitness and counselling sessions) are held on a co-ed basis at the main campus.

We offer these home-like facilities and an all-inclusive 12-month addiction treatment program for women. At Newgate 180, our fees are more affordable than most other private treatment centres.  We make it a major priority to support our female clients 24/7. Our non-profit and charitable status mean we can offer our women’s addiction treatment programs at a cost lower than most other centres.

How The Program Works

We have treated over 5,000 people using our unique holistic process. Our one-year program starts with a 30-day residency in Merrickville, Ontario, followed by an 11-month ongoing out-patient program, for a total of 12 months of all-inclusive care and support.

Newgate 180’s intensive outpatient program gives our female clients and their loved ones the tools for success. It also helps us support everyone throughout the whole recovery process, from beginning to end and beyond.

Along the way, we offer encouragement, personalized methods and evidence-based treatment. We use a proven, time-tested approach that will align with your specific circumstances so we can guide you along the path to emotional and physical wellness. Addictions We Treat

• Newgate 180 offers in-patient treatment and rehabilitation services for women looking for treatment of eight different addictions. The addictions we treat include the following:
• Alcohol addiction: Our treatment for alcohol addiction can help you overcome the spiral of addiction, binge drinking, daily dependence on drinking, and loss of control.
• Amphetamine addiction: We can support you with amphetamine addictions, including crystal methamphetamine, dextroamphetamine, and the cravings you may experience when you don’t use them.
• Benzodiazepine addiction: Our women’s treatment centre can support you on your journey to overcoming a benzodiazepine addiction. Whether you constantly seek prescription drugs to feed your addiction or are dependent on higher doses of drugs such as Valium or Xanax, we can help you overcome this problem.
• Cocaine addiction: At our women’s treatment centre, we can help you with cocaine addiction. No matter if you have an addiction to powdered cocaine or cocaine base (crack cocaine), our individualized drug rehab for women can help you overcome it.
• Gambling addiction: At Newgate 180’s women’s treatment centre, we can help you leave your gambling addiction If you have struggled to control the need to gamble or if you gamble to escape difficulties in your life, our program can help on the road to recovery.
• Hallucinogen addiction: At our hallucinogen addiction rehab centre, we can help you overcome your hallucinogen addiction. We have a proven program to help you overcome your addiction with LSD or ketamine, ecstasy and other types of hallucinogens.
• Marijuana addiction: Our drug rehab treatment services for women are available to treat an addiction to cannabis (weed) and overcome your reliance on the drug. We can help you find much healthier ways to relax.
• Opioid addiction: Newgate 180 can support you on your path to overcoming your opioid addiction. Our women’s treatment centre can help you overcome addictions to methadone or morphine, fentanyl or heroin, and others – we are here to support long lasting change in your life.
