Intervention

Addiction is a progressive disease which, if left untreated, will lead to premature death.

Some individuals are unwilling to admit their disease has taken over their life and often cannot deal with the pain and suffering their addictive behaviour has caused those around them. Perhaps they are resisting treatment at all costs. If this is your experience, you may want to consider a professional intervention. Newgate 180 is committed to helping clients get on and stay on the road to recovery. Our experienced clinical staff help guide, facilitate and support our clients through the entire process.

Once in recovery our clients and their loved ones can look forward to a brighter and more rewarding future.

Assessment

Newgate 180 provides an initial screening that can be conducted over the telephone, or we can also offer a more comprehensive assessment at our treatment locations. This confidential service allows you to discuss your concerns for either yourself or a loved one with a professional counsellor in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment.

During this assessment, the counsellor will take into account the nature and severity of a prospective client’s circumstances. We will then advise or assist in determining the best course of action. The purpose of this assessment is to gain an understanding of a client’s specific situation with respect to addiction history and physical and mental health while advising as to the program that would best meet their particular needs.

As part of the process we will ask for your consent to speak with a family member, physician or therapist for additional information. Admission can often take place immediately following the assessment.

Fees & Funding

In addition to clients funding their treatment from their own resources, Newgate 180’s treatment services are covered by some insurance plans. We will work closely with you to address your financial circumstances and set up an affordable treatment plan.
