At our facility, you’ll experience co-ed programs within a supportive, home-like environment. Please note that approximately 70% of our individualized programs are designed for individuals who require support for gender-specific issues.
Our Alcohol Rehab Program: What to Expect
- The first step is to complete a comprehensive assessment.
- Our team will then develop a uniquely tailored treatment plan, which may include a minimum of three weekly individual counselling sessions, allowing you the time and space to share what’s on your mind. These sessions help us give a better understanding of factors that could be contributing to your alcohol use, such as depression, PTSD or financial hardships.
- During your time at Newgate 180, our individualized and group counselling programs offer various wellness activities to support a stable daily routine, which can include creative expression, yoga, or training in our fitness areas. These activities help you regain control over your life and find joy in it without alcohol.
- We also provide aftercare support in preventing relapse. You will work with a relapse prevention counsellor to develop your personalized recovery plan after you leave Newgate 180.

Our Main Street Centre offers private and semi-private rooms, with welcoming shared spaces.
Here, we aim to make you feel at home, opting out of a clinical setting and focusing more on surrounding our clients with nature to create a peaceful environment. Fostering a space for healing and personal growth with a structured routine, which includes:

Due to 40% of workplace absenteeism caused by substance use, our At Work programs aim to support employees and employers with training and rehabilitation services.
Family Involvement & Education
While we help individuals with alcohol addiction, we are also supportive of their families during this time. Our Family Program is for spouses, children, parents and any extended family of individuals struggling with addiction. Families can often feel the ripple effect of addiction; that’s where the program comes in to help support and educate the addiction and recovery process.

Our 12-month treatment plan is available for $20,000 CAD with no hidden or additional fees, including no HST, payable in full upon admission. The price includes everything, from the one-month residency with chef-prepared meals and amenities, to outdoor activities, and the following 11 months of counselling and support sessions for you and your loved ones.
